Commencement 2010

Congratulations to the 2010 graduating class of Carnegie Mellon University’s H. John Heinz III College!

On Saturday, May 15, 2010 in CMU’s Purnell Center for the Arts, the College’s School of Information Systems and Management graduated 230 Master’s students; and on Sunday, May 16, 2010 at Pittsburgh’s Rodef Shalom, the School of Public Policy and Management graduated 250 Master’s students and seven doctoral candidates.

At the School of ISM ceremony both the keynote speaker, Jon Williams, Senior Principal for Deloitte Consulting LLP (MSPPM '87), and the student speaker, Crystal Gray (MISM ’10), spoke about their shared memories of Heinz and what lies ahead for the graduates as they move into the workforce and enter the ranks of Heinz College alumni.

At the School of PPM ceremony Julius Coles, President Emeritus of Africare and Director of Global Education/Andrew Young Center for International Affairs at Morehouse College, inspired the graduates through his keynote address. Lynly Lumibao (MSPPM ’10) had the opportunity to share her thoughts with her colleagues as a student speaker.
