Students are required to take each of the following: 12 units of Advanced Policy courses and 18 units of Advanced Methods courses. Each semester a wide range of courses are offered to satisfy each of these requirements.
The Spring semester courses listed below are generally offered in the spring semester, however, students should check the schedule to verify the courses will be offered during the following Spring semester.
Advanced Policy Topics (12 units)
Advanced Policy Topics courses are designed to provide you with an opportunity to explore the substantive aspects of policy making within the context of several policy areas.

Advanced Methods Courses (18 units)
Advanced Methods courses deepen your understanding of both the tools and topics of policy analysis and management. Many of these courses count toward your concentration area.
