Scholarships
Heinz College is committed to making a graduate education affordable for talented students. No separate application is necessary. If you note in the application for admission that you'd like to be considered for financial aid, you'll be automatically considered for any applicable scholarship opportunity.

MSIT Scholarships
MSIT Scholarships are merit based awards available to either full or part-time students.
South Australian Government Scholarships
Scholarships covering a significant portion of tuition are available. To be considered for a scholarship, applicants will meet Carnegie Mellon’s admission requirements. Apply online and answer ‘yes’ when you are asked if you want to be considered for ‘financial aid.’
Australian students are also eligible for a FEE-HELP tuition loan, which can be used to meet the residual cost of tuition not covered by scholarship.
Carnegie Mellon Scholarship exclusive for ACS members
Carnegie Mellon, H. John Heinz III College, Australia campus is offering a scholarship program exclusive for Australian Computer Society members only to study their Master of Science in Information Technology degree at the Australia campus. Candidates from ACS can now apply for the 50% scholarship towards tuition fees for the January and August 2010 intakes.

Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID) Scholarships
The Commonwealth Government of Australia provides funding for a number AusAID Scholarships to eligible applicants for the following Masters level programs at this campus:
- Master of Science in Public Policy and Management (MSPPM)
- Master of Science in Information Technology (MSIT)
Scholarship recipients will gain knowledge and skills that they can apply to the development of their home country upon completion of their study. Scholarships include full tuition, return economy airfares, a contribution to living expenses and basic medical insurance.

Endeavour Awards
The Endeavour Awards is the Australian Government’s internationally competitive, merit-based scholarship program enabling citizens of the Asia-Pacific, Middle East, Europe and the Americas to undertake study, research or professional development in Australia. Awards are also available for Australians to do the same abroad.

Scholarships for Indian Applicants
The Confederation of Indian Industry along with the Government of South Australia, represented by the Carnegie Mellon Support Unit, Department of Premier and Cabinet (CMSU-DPC) are pleased to announce a joint scholarship program for candidates to undertake masters’ degree programs at the Carnegie Mellon, H. Telstra Scholarships
Telstra Scholarships and Carnegie Mellon University IT specialists keen to enhance their career prospects now have the opportunity to receive financial help to study at Carnegie Mellon University Australia in 2010, after Telstra announced a scholarship package totaling $1.35 million, creating 12 scholarships over the next two years.
The Telstra Media Communications and Technology Scholarship Program will support post-graduate students in completing a Master of Science in Information Technology at Carnegie Mellon's Heinz College campus in Adelaide with each scholarship valued at $90,000.
