Heinz College faculty curriculum committees have developed several common courses across the college. Students benefit from the greater diversity of experience of their classmates, and it provides some efficiency for the college as well. We are particularly focused on integrating foundational management courses that all Heinz College students need.
For example, the college recently piloted an integrated course on Organizational Design and Implementation, which was a synthesis of two similar courses, ODI in the policy school and Organizational Management from the information systems programs. More common courses will be offered in the coming months, creating sets of classes that will be shared at a college level, a school level and a program level.
