Harrisburg Colloquium

The Harrisburg Colloquium is an event to learn about career opportunities in local and state government as well as state-oriented think tanks, trade associations, non-governmental organizations. Speakers are Heinz alum who will provide information on their own career history with a focus on career paths in:

            The Executive Branch

            Independent Agencies

            General Assembly

            Lobbying

            Think Tanks

            Local Government

 

The event includes a networking luncheon and a reception for students, alumni and employers from the Harrisburg Region, as well as a private tour of the Pennsylvania State Capitol Building.

The $10 registration fee provides students with a lunch, reception and roundtrip transportation. The bus will depart from Carnegie Mellon at 6:00 am on Friday and return to campus by Friday at 9:00 pm.   Payment can be made either cash or check. at the Career Services Office.  All checks are made to "Carnegie Mellon University."
