Biography
Professor Brussalis is the president and chief executive officer of The Hill Group Inc., an international management-consulting firm. His firm specializes in strategy and performance and diagnostic measurement. The Hill Group serves both private and public sector clients, including several Fortune 100 companies and foreign governments. Some of Professor Brussalis' current projects are in the area of corporate strategic planning and policy development and planning for major public sector infrastructure projects.
Professor Brussalis is earning his doctorate from the University of Illinois with a dissertation titled, "Regionalization of Public Services and Management Systems." He has a Master of Arts in Public Administration from the University of Illinois and a Bachelor of Science from Allegheny College.
Research
Professor Brussalis' research centers around the areas of economics of regionalization, environmental policy, solid waste management, economic development and strategic planning. His current projects are in the area regionalization and the development of regional solid waste management systems in Mexico and other Latin American countries.
