Jessica Bowser, MAM 2012
Along with their partners, Jessica Bowser and Rachel Hite are developing Spark, a web-based social venture that makes it easy and affordable to plan relationship experiences and inspires people to explore the cultural resources that are in their city. Spark is a website where ordinary people - old, young, straight, gay, first-time daters, or long-time lovers - build extraordinary dates at affordable prices. Their goal is to expose couples to the rich local culture of Pittsburgh at discount prices. Spark was recently awarded second place in the 2011 Keith Block Entrepreneurial Case Competition.
