Individual Counseling

A Career Services staff member will provide guidance, advice and information throughout your career search. Your counselor will help you tailor a career search that helps you achieve your goal of attaining a rewarding career. You'll be required to meet with your counselor at the beginning of each academic year, but we recommend multiple meetings throughout the year.

Typical counseling activities include:

1. Assessment of skills and career interests.
2. Resume and cover letter reviews.
3. Discussion of internship and job search strategies.
4. Interview preparation.
5. Job offer review and salary negotiation discussions.
6. Alumni contacts and other networks.
