Heinz Alum Named CFO of Network Solutions

Heinz College Alumnus Miles Reidy (MSPPM '86) was recently named Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Network Solutions, a leading provider of online solutions for small businesses.

"There is a huge opportunity for companies that pro-actively engage small business owners by making it easy for them to take their companies online and market them,” said Reidy. "What attracted me to Network Solutions is the strong executive team led by (CEO) Roy (Dunbar), along with an experienced and involved Board of Directors."

Reidy was previously the CFO of Sears Holdings Corporation, where he led the development of strategy and financial management for the multi-million dollar retailer. Prior to this role, he spent more than eight years at Capital One Financial Corporation, leading activities in banking integration, corporate planning and financial strategy. In addition, he served as the CFO for Capital One Credit Card and Bank. Reidy’s experience also includes senior posts at a number of large commercial banks.

Reidy has also served as a member of Heinz College's Dean's Advisory Council. Prior to his studies at Heinz College, Reidy received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the Georgetown University.
