More Ways to Recruit

For your convenience, we offer several other recruitment opportunities for you to engage with our students, graduates, alumni and faculty.

Lead a Case Challenge

Career Services hosts sponsored case challenges for our students. Past events have included public sector, arts-focused, community development, and information system cases. For more information, please contact Career Services.

Conduct Mock Interviews

Career Services annually conducts mock interviews to give students the opportunity to polish their interview skills. If you or someone in your organization is interested in volunteering a few hours interviewing students, please contact us.

Serve as Client for a Student Project

Project courses are an integral part of education at Heinz. Most students in the MSPPM, MISM, and MAM programs are required to complete a semester-long "Systems Synthesis Project" or “Capstone Project.” These projects embrace four educational goals that synthesize the Heinz experience and apply it to the analysis of complex issues:

  • Develop problem structuring and solving skills;
  • Develop project management, teamwork, and communication skills;
  • Provide a capstone experience that integrates and synthesizes "core" coursework;
  • Provide a "real world" organizational experience.

Projects have made a significant impact on local, national and international communities. Organizations who wish to sponsor and/or serve as a client for a project should contact the appropriate program director.

Write an Article for the Heinz College Journal

Employers and alumni are encouraged to contribute articles to the Heinz College Review. While the majority of articles reflect a variety of policy and management issues, selected issues will be thematic in nature, analyzing policy and management issues under a defined focus. Submissions must meet the standards of scholarship held by Heinz College to be considered for publication.
