Careers in Information Systems Management

The Carnegie Mellon reputation and track record drives employers to our campus in huge numbers. In recent years, we have exceeded our space capacities to handle the demand from prospective employers. Most MISM graduates receive multiple job offers and are able to make choices on job location and industry type. A robust alumni base returns to campus each year to repeat the recruiting cycle.

Consulting firms, financial services firms, and technology firms are the most likely destination for our MISM graduates. In addition, several graduates have pursued careers with startups or embarked on their own entrepreneurial ventures.

At Heinz College we treat Career Services as seriously as we do our academics. Our Career Services staff will help prepare you secure employment through several career counseling activities and create opportunities to meet prospective employers at various networking events and job fairs.
