MISM Accelerated Masters - Carnegie Mellon University 3+1+1 Program

Heinz College offers an Accelerated Master’s Program to qualified Carnegie Mellon University undergraduate students. The program—structured as three years at Carnegie Mellon as an undergraduate student followed by 1 year as both an undergraduate and graduate student subsequently followed by 1 year at Heinz as a graduate student—results in students receiving both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in less time than is normally required.

Who's Eligible?

Students with a strong academic background who have most of their undergraduate requirements completed are eligible to apply to the accelerated masters program. Students applying in junior year of their study are eligible to enroll in the senior year. Note: The MISM program holds an information session each year for Carnegie Mellon undergrads interested in learning more about the accelerated masters program. We can also easily put you in contact with current and past AMP students. To inquire about the next information session, please contact Heinz College Admissions office.
