MSBTM Admissions Requirements

A Heinz College education will focus your passion and idealism through a program grounded in strong management and problem solving skills. With each entering class, we seek to create a diverse community of future biotechnology leaders.

MSBTM students have no singular profile: they have an undergraduate degree in science or engineering, unique strengths, and differing amounts and types of work experience. Together, we represent an amazingly lively population preparing to take on the challenges facing biotechnology firms today.

Application Deadline

January 10 – The application form must be submitted via the online application system by the deadline. Supporting materials sent by mail (if any) must be postmarked by the deadline. Our admissions committee cannot begin reviewing your application until we have received all of your application materials.

* If the class is not full after the deadline, we'll continue to accept applications until it is. Scholarship opportunities after this deadline are limited.
