MSBTM Mission Statement

The mission of the Master of Science in Biotechnology and Management (MSBTM) program is to help educate and develop innovative, motivated, and ethical leaders capable of creating, transforming, and managing organizations in the life sciences space.

Students in the MSBTM program should be able to:

• Discuss the various segments of the life sciences industry and the various factors that differentiate them from other industry segments.
• Describe policy questions, managerial techniques, and scientific concerns that relate to the life sciences industry.
• Apply technical/analytical skills and techniques, knowledge gained over the course of the program to tackle important issues.
• Function in diverse teams in various functional areas and assume leadership roles when required.
