HCPM Dual Degree
To further expand your knowledge and expertise in health care policy and management, we offer a unique chance for you to acquire a dual degree with the Tepper School of Business.
The HCPM/MBA is a 2.5-year (5 semesters) program that begins in late August.
The program is designed to better educate you in understanding the interface between the private and public sectors and the health care industry.
You'll begin the program at Tepper and take 162 units of required core courses, including 90 units of required core courses and 72 units of required electives. You must also meet all MBA requirements such as Management Game, Core Elective Requirements, Concentrations and Breadth.
You'll take 108 units of coursework at Heinz, which includes 72 units of required courses and 36 units of concentration and elective courses. You'll begin taking courses at Heinz one year after the MBA courses. So you may apply for the dual degree before enrolling at Tepper or during the first year of the MBA program. The GMAT is required of all applicants.
