A new and rapidly changing health care environment is forcing more physicians to accept administrative and management responsibilities for which they haven’t been given the proper education. The Master of Medical Management (MMM) program at Carnegie Mellon University's Heinz College allows physicians to be successful in these roles by arming them to lead today’s health care organizations and to shape the future of tomorrow’s health care industry.
Our 18-month intensive program concentrates on three distinctive, but related, competencies necessary for physician executives to build and manage successful health care organizations. These core competencies address effective leadership, strategy, and management of information.
Features & Benefits:
- Led by a world-renowned faculty, the MMM program has been named one of the top five physician executive programs in the U.S. by Modern Healthcare.
- Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME) accreditation candidate.
- Program concentrations in leadership, strategy, and information technology.
- Blended distance and on-site learning environment.
