VISTAS SPEECH

Daniel Martich, M.D., chief medical information officer (CMIO) and associate chief medical officer, is one of the primary leaders behind UPMC’s extensive adoption of electronic medical records (EMRs). Now known as UPMC eRecord, the system includes over 200 applications and has improved the safety, quality and cost-effectiveness of care at UPMC, widely recognized as a pioneer in the advanced use of information technology.
