Rebekah Apple
Director, Master of Medical Management
Rebekah Apple is the Director of the Master of Medical Management program at Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy.
She is responsible for the direction and strategy refinement for a degree program exclusively for physicians. She has served as health care advisor, educator and ethicist for over 10 years in academic, clinical, and association environments. Apple consults with hospitals and health systems around the country on organizational ethics.
Rebekah currently teaches Ethical Analysis and Organizational Ethics at Carnegie Mellon University, and bioethics to first- and third-year medical students at the University of Pittsburgh. She is also a Medical Ethicist at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Apple holds a Masters in Bioethics from the University of South Florida and a doctorate in Health Science from A.T. Still University.
