Erin Franzman

Erin Franzman is a longtime digital-media executive who has a firsthand view of how print, television and online have converged.
As the Vice President of Digital and Social Strategy at CBS, Franzman oversees the online marketing for CBS Entertainment, News and Sports, guides the digital transformation opportunities through AI and web3, and works across Paramount IP on company initiatives, such as the Super Bowl. Shows include NCIS, Survivor, The Drew Barrymore Show, Ghosts, 60 Minutes, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and the Star Trek franchise.
Prior to working at CBS, Franzman was Content Director at leading New York social-media firm Big Fuel, working with HBO to create social campaigns for shows like The Newsroom and GIRLS. Her work as Director of Interactive Programming at Madison Square Garden was nominated and won multiple New York Emmys, and she was also Managing Editor of AOL’s city guides. She started her career at alternative-weekly newspapers, including New York Press and Seattle’s Stranger, where she was the music editor, and her freelance writing and photography have been published in the New York Post and Los Angeles magazine.
