Assistant Teaching Professor
Will Gogolak has more than a decade of experience in financial markets, financial planning, and financial modeling. Will has worked in a variety of industries throughout his consulting career, both as a strategy and financial consultant. He is an advocate of student learning and applying classroom concepts to real-world financial problems.
Will is also a trained academic, having earned his PhD in Finance from Illinois Institute of Technology. Prior to his appointment at CMU, he taught as an adjunct professor at a number of universities in the Chicago area. His primary research focus is on predictive modeling in the commodity markets and corporate finance.
Will enjoys biking, golfing, long walks with his family, and exploring Pittsburgh in his spare time.
