Ashleigh Marzynski Bohr is Senior Vice President, Content Development & Marketing Strategy at NRG (National Research Group), a global provider of market research and strategy services to the entertainment industry.
Ashleigh has spent the past decade working in entertainment market research, both for theatrical, broadcast, and streaming clients (including Disney, Prime Video, Netflix, Apple TV+ and CBS) on global titles and custom projects. She oversees titles across their lifecycle from early-stage positioning to content & creative testing and post release evaluation. Ashleigh has worked on numerous custom landscape studies and segmentations to understand unique audiences, including Black and Latino streamers, Comic Con fans, and NFL viewers, and helped clients craft strategies around streaming episode release cadence and bundling services. With an emphasis in international research, her work often takes her aboard – including Japan, South Korea, Mexico, and Italy in recent years. Ashleigh started her career as the Coordinator of Client Services at Nielsen focusing on theatrical ad testing, audience screenings, exit polls, and theatrical box office tracking.
Ashleigh graduated from the Master of Entertainment Industry Management program in May 2013 with distinction and she has a BA in Communication and Arts Management from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point (UWSP). In 2014, she was awarded a Distinguished Alumni honor from the UWSP Department of Communication.
Ashleigh enjoys travel, Wisconsin sports teams and Fleetwood Mac. She lives in Long Beach with her husband, Chris, and pet corgi and conure.
