George Werbacher

George currently leads the Business Information Security program at Blackbaud where he supports product development teams with ensuring risk is properly quanatified and security strategy is properly implemented into business priorities and roadmaps. Prior to Blackbaud, George led the Cloud Security Advisory team at Truist Financial where he was responsible for the overall cloud security strategy and governance program. George also has held jobs at Capital One and the SaaS-based company Acquia. George has a passion for education and loves the ability to give back to his alma mater and help build the next generation of cyber security leaders.
