Carnegie Mellon University's Heinz College and VinUniversity Announce Accelerated Dual Degree Program


Carnegie Mellon University’s (CMU) Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy announced a new partnership with VinUniversity (VinUni), a private, not-for-profit university in Hanoi, Vietnam. The collaboration establishes an accelerated, integrated bachelor’s-master’s program, allowing VinUni students to earn a master’s degree from CMU’s Heinz College.

Through the program, select VinUni students, after  three years of study at VinUni, will have the opportunity to complete a master's degree from Heinz College within two years, enabling them to obtain both degrees in an accelerated five years. VinUni students studying at Heinz College will gain access to CMU's world-class faculty, curriculum, and global network.

"This collaboration highlights our shared commitment to global education and innovation as we prepare the next generation of leaders to address global challenges.”

The program is designed to equip students with the skills needed to tackle complex challenges in public policy, information systems, and management through offering degree programs in artificial intelligence systems management, information systems management, business intelligence and data analytics, public policy and management, data analytics, health care analytics, arts management, and entertainment industry management.
