Alumni Association Board


The Heinz College Alumni Association Board (HCAAB) is the advisory body that represents alumni within the Heinz College community. Our mission is to lead the Heinz College Alumni Association's effort to maintain an enriching relationship for the purposes of collaboration, support, and advancement of the name and reputation of Heinz College and its alumni.

  1. Regional and Program Representation:
    - Serve as a representative of your region or program, helping to engage and activate alumni locally.

    - Identify new alumni in areas where we want to build stronger connections.

  2. Event Planning and Support:
    - Assist the Heinz College Office of Alumni Relations in planning and executing events.

    - Share insights on local venues, preferred event times, and the best strategies for alumni engagement in your area.

  3. Alumni Engagement:
    - Actively promote events and initiatives to the alumni community.

    - Suggest new ideas for programs and events tailored to local interests.

    - Encourage networking, mentorship, and professional development opportunities within your region.

  4. Collaboration with Broader Networks:
    - Leverage connections to enhance communication and collaboration across the university.

  5. Capstone & Internship Development
    - Connect your company or organization with the Heinz Strategic Partners team to host a capstone project.

  6. Admissions Ambassador
    - Share your Heinz College experience with our prospective students on the phone, via email, or in person.
