Attend a career event where you can interact with and recruit our students.

The Reidy Career Center and the Carnegie Mellon University Career and Professional Center (CPDC) host numerous career events throughout the academic year. These events provide wonderful opportunities for you to interact with and recruit our students. All events are listed in Handshake, where you can find an up-to-date calendar of upcoming career events, obtain detailed information on each event, and register to attend any events that are of interest to you.

Heinz College Events

At Heinz College, we host a number of career events throughout the United States that provide a venue for students and professional recruiters to network and exchange ideas. Our annual events include, but are not limited to the following:

New York Technical Career Fair

Held each fall in New York City, this fair connects Heinz College students who are highly technical with employers that are looking to fill tech positions within their respective organizations.
Network Pittsburgh
D.C. Colloquium

Held in Washington, D.C. each fall, the Colloquium features speakers, panel talks, and networking opportunities for students interested in careers in public policy.
Public Service Fair

The Public Service Fair, held in Pittsburgh each fall, connects local nonprofit and government organizations with Heinz College students seeking internships, Federal Community Service Work Study (FCSWS) jobs, or volunteer opportunities.

Technical Opportunities Conference

Held each fall, the Technical Opportunities Conference is the largest job fair on Carnegie Mellon's campus, focusing specifically on technical employment. The TOC offers a great opportunity for companies and potential employees to make connections for both full-time employment and summer internships.
EncompassCMU

Each fall, EncompassCMU brings together arts, business, computer science, engineering, humanities, and science students in one location for a career fair that truly encompasses all industries and skill sets.
Spark

Held each fall on our Pittsburgh campus, Spark: Startups and Emerging Companies is an innovative career event designed to provide a platform for small business and early stage start-ups to engage Carnegie Mellon University students and alumni.
Creative Arts Opportunities Conference (CAOC)

The CAOC is a day focused on connecting employers with our students interested in creative industries through opportunities including the Career Fair, Design Confluence, HCII Connect, and Architecture Interchange.
