The Master of Science in Health Care Analytics & Information Technology (MSHCA) program takes the analytical and technology expertise of Heinz College and targets problems facing the health care field.
Technology and data have transformed the health care sector, and that transformation is accelerating. In all aspects of the field and at all points of care, advanced technologies are causing us to rethink what's possible.
The MSHCA program will prepare you to drive change in the industry immediately upon graduation. We will prepare you to understand the complexity of today's health care environment and we will unlock your ability to create new models and products powered by technology and analytics. But not only will you have the ability to innovate, you will be equipped to translate those innovations into maximum impact. As the industry evolves in the digital age, the MSHCA program will prepare you to adapt, using analytics to make a difference at health organizations of all kinds.
This program is ideal for students with a technical background but is suitable for students from non-technical areas who possess strong quantitative skills. Overall, MSHCA is for individuals who have a passion for health care and want to create urgently needed changes that will shape the health industry in the 21st century.
