Admitted Student Open House


Congratulations on your admission to Heinz College! We hope that you will join us for our Heinz College Admitted Student Open House.  

Admitted Student Open House is an opportunity for newly admitted students to meet faculty, administrators, and current students to learn more about our culture, curriculum, career development services, internship opportunities, financial aid, the City of Pittsburgh, and much more.

Admitted Student Open House will be held virtually Monday, March 24, 2025 to Thursday, March 27, 2025 and in-person on Friday, March 28, 2025 and Saturday, March 29, 2025.

In-Person Events


We are excited to welcome you to Pittsburgh on March 28 and 29. The in-person events kick off with a welcome in Hamburg Hall at 8:00 AM on Friday, March 28. Saturday’s events will focus on your Heinz College experience; starting at 9 AM experience the classroom, connect with your program community, learn about Diversity, Inclusion, Climate, and Equity at Heinz, and discover the campus.

  • Travel Subsidy

    Heinz College is pleased to offer a Travel Subsidy to admitted students who will travel more than 200 miles round trip to attend Admitted Student Open House.

    Please make note of the following details:
    You must be in attendance at Admitted Student Open House on Saturday, March 29, 2025 to receive the Travel Subsidy. Additionally, the Travel Subsidy may be applied to only ONE of the following methods of transportation:

    • Airfare
    • Bus Fare
    • Train Fare
    • Rental Car
    • Personal Vehicle, reimbursed at $0.25 per mile traveled 

    Airfare will be reimbursed up to $450. All other methods of transportation will be reimbursed up to $300.

    Lodging and ground transportation expenses (including taxi, Lyft and/or Uber fare) are not eligible expenses for the Travel Subsidy.
